
Larissa Belova is the Chief Investment Officer for Real Estate US, a business which forms part of Global Real Assets within UBS Asset Management. Larissa is responsible for driving the market positioning and growth of the real estate investment strategy and products, working in close collaboration with the platform’s research, portfolio management, client relations, operations and transactions teams. Larissa is also a member of the Real Estate US Management team and Investment Committee.
Prior to joining UBS, Larissa spent six years at CBRE Investment Management, where she served as Lead Portfolio Manager of the firm’s flagship diversified open-end core ODCE fund. In her previous role, she was responsible for all aspects of the fund’s strategy, investments, performance and portfolio management, as well as capital raising and investor relations. Larissa led the growth of the fund from ~USD 3 billion to ~USD 12 billion during her tenure.
Larissa has over two decades of experience in all aspects of commercial real estate, fund management, investment, financing, asset management, capital raising and investor relations. She has acquired, managed, and sold real estate across the risk and return spectrum in a diverse mix of asset types, including logistics, multifamily, retail and office, as well as the next generation sectors of student housing, affordable housing, SFR/BTR, self-storage, life sciences, medical office, and data centers.
Prior to CBRE Investment Management, she’s held roles at Thor Equities, Jonathan Rose Companies, Praedium Group, NYC Economic Development Corporation, and Lexington Realty Trust.
Larissa is active in a variety of industry organizations, including, WX Women Executives in Real Estate where she sits on the Scholars’ Committee; Urban Land Institute, Multifamily Green Product Council; and AIternative Investment Forum, Women’s Leadership Steering Committee. Larissa is also a Board Member of Up For Growth Action.
Larissa graduated with honors from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and a Minor in French. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
