Zach Crawford has served as the Chief of Staff for Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague since 2023. He served in several key roles within the office since the start of the Sprague Administration, including as Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Strategic Partnerships. As the first Director of Sprague’s ResultsOHIO initiative, Crawford brought together various stakeholders and policy experts to design and launch a first-of-its-kind pay for success program.

Crawford is a native of Findlay, Ohio, growing up in the same area as Treasurer Sprague. He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics and a master’s degree in public administration.
