Veronica Oganovich serves as the Chief of Human Resources for the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office, bringing nearly a decade of progressive leadership within the agency. With a strong background in operations, organizational development, and strategic HR management, Veronica has held multiple leadership roles including Director of Operations and Deputy Chief of HR, where she led initiatives to enhance workplace culture, compliance, and employee engagement.

Veronica holds a Master of Business Administration with a HR concentration from the University of Southern Indiana and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Trinity Christian College. Prior to transitioning into public service, she served in public safety as a 911 Police and Fire Dispatcher for nearly eight years, further strengthening her skills in crisis communication and multitasking.

Known for her hands-on leadership style and commitment to efficiency and employee well-being, Veronica is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and driving impactful, people-focused solutions within state government.
